Product updates not showing VAT

Hi there,

I have a small issue with TAX, when I upload my product list the VAT defaults to "No Tax" with each product, I then need to change the VAT back to "UK VAT 20%" however when I merge a new price list (which needs to be done every day with 7000 products) the TAX goes back to the default "No Tax".

I know I can do a script in PHP Myadmin which will change the setting in one go but this is not a solution for us as it leaves products with no VAT for a couple of hours.

Any help would be good.
