Thank you for choosing our module
1)First of all you need to check if you have all categories that you want to export selected, "strip HTML" check boxes marked and all the proper data in the required fields (please determine for yourself how you want your products shown) you can surely just leave the default settings 2)Then choose if you want Google to get the file from your server every so often automatically, please look for "Save to Directory on Server " option. If not - the file will be saved on your computer. Save to Directory on Server is the path to your feed file. Each time you generate a file it will be saved there and this is what you need to remember to enter in your Google account for Automated upload 3) Press the Generate TXT button of you want to save the file as googlebase-export.txt It will be saved on server if you mentioned the directory. If not - just save the file on your computer. 4) You asked: Quote:

5) Please now proceed in your Google checkout account. Google has detailed instructions there. Just for you here is more information: 1.To register your feed, please sign in. If you're already logged in to your Google Base account, select the Data feeds tab. 2.You'll see a button to register a New Data Feed. 3.After you click on this link, you may be directed to the About me page. Fill out as many of the fields in this page as possible. If you're including links in your feed, please be sure to provide your website URL. Click the Next button when you're done. There are several fields on the Specify a data feed page: File name: Enter the name of the file you'll be submitting. Remember, this name should exactly match the name of the file you created and include a valid extension according to the format of your feed. RSS files should end with an .xml extension. Filenames that don't end with any extension will be processed as a tab-delimited file by default. Target Country: Specify the location where you'd like your items displayed in the search results. For example, the target country "United States" will display listings in Google Base US search results. Remember, data feeds must meet the requirements for the target country's version of Google Base. Item type: Select the appropriate item type from the drop-down menu. If you can't find an item type that describes the information you're submitting, you can define your own custom item type. To do this, click on the circle labeled Submit a custom type, then enter the name of your custom item type. 4.When you're done specifying your feed settings, click on the Register data feed and continue to formatting instructions button. After viewing the formatting information, you'll see your feed listed in your account. Now that it's registered, you can submit your file to Google Base. 5.There are two ways to submit your file as showing in your Uploads column: Scheduled one to upload file from your server and a manual one to upload file from your computer. Let's try manual first. You simply click on the link to get the pop-up window. Then browse your computer for the necessary file. For the scheduled upload please click SHEDULED. Now you need to specify time and period — when you want Google Base to get the data feed from your store. And specify the path to your data feed file. 6.You can see that your file is being processed at the moment. After it is processed you will see the results here and check the details Please let us know if you have any questions |
