VirtueMart - Supported Soon

The list of shopping carts supported by Cart2Cart becomes more and more extended. VirtueMart is another shopping cart which soon will be supported by Cart2Cart service. VirtueMart is an Open Source eCommerce solution to be used together with a Content Management System (CMS) called Joomla!™ (but also works with Mambo). Joomla and VirtueMart are written in PHP and made for easy use in a PHP / MySQL environment.


VirtueMart is free. But it's no stand-alone script. It's a Plug-in and requires the PHP Content Management System Joomla! (or Mambo). So you must install Joomla first, then VirtueMart. Features of VirtueMart platform are numerous, to mention a few: miltiple images and files per product, shipping rates calculation, multiple languages, etc.*


Following shopping cart migration features are planned for initial release:
1. Customer information migration
2. Order information migration
3. Product information migration
4. Categories migration
5. Manufacturers migration
