Manufacturer Issue

Hi I am currently trialling the software with a goal to making importing of product easier, so far possibly a small bit easier.

Managed to process a .csv file the other day, but after the import (75 products) it also changed the Manufacturer of every single product in the store over 1500 products - Took quite a few hours to rectify that.

How would this of been possible?

If the processed csv file was to only add the contained products how is it possible that it also changed the brand of every product in the store?

Ok it has done it again.

This time imported a file with NO brand

Then added the brand and selected the new products to that brand and again every product in the store changed to this brand.

Is there any insight please?
